This Staff Consultant role will build automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability solutions, and operational runbooks for AWS delivery. The consultant will operate as an embedded AWS SME, providing hands-on implementation support and creating audit-ready technical documentation aligned with regulated financial-services environments. Required 5+ years of relevant hands-on delivery experience at an L5/Staff Consultant level. Strong hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments. Expert knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes observability/monitoring . Strong understanding and implementation experience with OpenTelemetry standards . Deep experience with Amazon CloudWatch, including metrics, logs, alarms, dashboards, and Container Insights. Hands-on experience with Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus (AMP) and Amazon Managed Grafana (AMG) . Strong knowledge of Amazon EKS , including cluster management, node groups, IRSA, and observability add-ons. Experience with ECS and Fargate monitoring. Hands-on experience with AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT) . Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform and/or CloudFormation. Experience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, and GitOps. Experience with AWS Systems Manager, Python/Bash automation, and operational runbooks. Strong understanding of AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, VPC, PrivateLink, ALB/NLB, and related security/networking services. Experience working in a large regulated enterprise environment, preferably financial services. Strong understanding of formal change-control, audit, risk, and governance processes. Ability to create architecture/design documentation, ADRs, runbooks, test evidence, and technical documentation for Technology Risk review. Strong stakeholder communication skills across engineering, security, operations, SRE, and delivery teams. Others Hands-on experience with Splunk, Zabbix, and Dynatrace . Experience with Amazon OpenSearch Service for log aggregation and analysis. Experience with AWS Lambda for custom monitoring and metric collection. Experience with Amazon Kinesis for real-time log and metric streaming. Experience with AWS Config for configuration compliance monitoring. Experience integrating Amazon GuardDuty and Security Hub with monitoring solutions. Experience with AWS Cost Explorer and observability cost optimization. Experience with Amazon Timestream for high-volume time-series metrics. Experience with operational resilience, including RTO/RPO and multi-region disaster recovery. Knowledge of financial-services regulations and frameworks including DORA, NIST CSF 2.0, PCI DSS, SEC cyber rules, RegSCI, and SIFMU/FMI expectations , where applicable. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional . AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional . HashiCorp Terraform Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) .
