Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Telemetry

The Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry provides skilled nursing care in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. The nurse is expected to maintain a 1:5 patient ratio, adhere to dress code policies, and demonstrate seasoned travel nursing experience. Weekend work every other weekend is required, with no on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work if applicable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.

• Experience as a seasoned travel nurse with at least one contract completed.
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center operations.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical record systems.

• No on-call responsibilities required.
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
• Block schedules are approved but not mandatory.
• Must comply with hospital uniform policy: licensed nursing personnel wear solid navy blue scrubs; print tops not allowed except in designated units.
• Free parking available in designated employee/visitor lots.
• Floating between units is expected.
• 48-hour workweeks are not approved.
