Paralegal Position

Seeking a paralegal with experience in construction contracts, commercial transactions, real estate, or corporate law to support attorneys with contracts, due diligence, project documentation, and legal operations.

We are seeking an experienced, highly technical, and detail-oriented paralegal to support attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with construction contracts, commercial transactions, real estate, or corporate law, along with excellent organizational, research, and document-management skills. This is an in-office position in Lexington, Kentucky.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise construction contracts and related legal documents.
• Assist attorneys with contract administration and project documentation.
• Organize and maintain client files and legal documents.
• Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and reports.
• Coordinate document execution and signature processes.
• Assist with due diligence and document review.
• Track deadlines and maintain project files.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal staff.
• Utilize document management systems to organize and maintain legal records.
• Assist attorneys with monthly billing and invoicing.
• Support attorneys with legal research and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of paralegal experience.
• Experience in construction law, commercial transactions, real estate, or corporate law preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Paralegal Certificate, or related Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, litigation software, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, including document management systems, legal software, collaboration platforms, and AI tools.
• Knowledge of current construction law issues and trends.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills when working with attorneys, clients, contractors, consultants, and other outside parties.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
