Position Details Facility: North Bay Hospital Location: New Port Richey, FL Status: PRN As Needed, hourly Shift Hours: Varies Weekend Work: Every 3rd On Call: No Responsibilities Pharmacy Technician, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include: Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam Qualifications High School Graduate or Equivalent GED Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License Preferred Qualifications 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Benefits Medical benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k match and additional yearly contribution Yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus Extensive training and mentorship along with amazing career growth opportunities Community discounts and more AND the Chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work!
