You arrive ready to shape outdoor spaces. First up: review the day’s plan, load tools, and confirm plant selections that match each client’s vision. By mid-morning, you’re laying out beds and borders, setting plant groupings, and bringing a design to life. After lunch, you fine-tune details—mowing and edging a lawn, pruning, planting seasonal color, and pulling weeds to keep every space crisp and healthy. You wrap up by checking irrigation zones, addressing any dry spots or leaks, and speaking with clients about care recommendations.

What you’ll accomplish

• Turn client goals into landscape layouts and carry out on-site installations that elevate curb appeal and function.
• Handle recurring care: mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, and touch-up pruning to keep grounds neat and thriving.
• Install, test, and maintain irrigation systems to deliver the right water at the right time for plant health.
• Observe plant performance, diagnose pest, disease, or environmental stress, and suggest corrective actions.
• Work closely with teammates to complete projects safely, on schedule, and to spec.
• Care for tools and equipment—clean, service, and store properly to ensure reliability.
• Communicate clearly with clients, answering questions and recommending solutions that fit their needs.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus.
• Hands-on experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a closely related trade.
• Solid understanding of plants, horticultural practices, and basic landscape design concepts.
• Skill in operating mowers, trimmers, and related tools with a strong safety mindset.
• Stamina to work outdoors in changing weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail paired with a creative eye for layout and plant combinations.
• Clear communication and a service-first attitude when working with clients and teammates.
