Senior Helpers Caregiver Position

Here at Senior Helpers we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia and a strong understanding of client rights and care plans. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our client's by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties:

• Assist Client's with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each Client's needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to Client's, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor Client's health and report any changes or concerns to the office immediately.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of Client's by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs within the home or during outings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in Client's living areas.
• Uphold Client's rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care giving, is preferred but not mandatory. We TRAIN!
• Knowledge of working with individuals who have Alzheimer's and Dementia is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
• Basic first aid certification is a plus;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to assist Client's physically as needed while respecting their dignity and independence.
• Your OWN vehicle, CA Driver's License, Auto Insurance and Current Registration.
• Driving Record Check
• Negative TB Test
• Reliable
