We are seeking a Software Delivery Manager to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of information systems, software development, and operations, driving the delivery of web-based clinical platforms used for medical imaging review and data workflows. The Software Delivery Manager will bring structure to a fast-moving environment - translating business and clinical needs into clear technical requirements, organizing work into manageable increments, and ensuring teams deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. This role requires strong technical fluency, hands-on project ownership, and the ability to operate effectively in a flexible, evolving environment.Job Description: Collaborate with information systems, software development, testing, product, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and align priorities and deliverablesOwn the end-to-end delivery of projects and larger platform features and enhancements, breaking down ambiguous requests into actionable, trackable workTranslate business and clinical software needs into clear, testable requirements and maintain supporting documentation to ensure alignment across teamsOrganize and manage backlogs in Jira, implement lightweight sprint structures where appropriate, and create visibility into active work, risks, and timelinesEnsure smooth hand-offs between teams, identify gaps early, and resolve blockers to keep work moving forwardTransition release planning toward more structured, milestone-driven releases, including quarterly planning and progress trackingWork closely with development and DevOps to understand and manage Git-based workflows, branching strategies, environments, and deployment processesEstablish clear milestones and hold teams accountable for delivery while maintaining strong working relationshipsEnsure requirements and deliverables are defined clearly enough to support testing, validation, and regulatory expectationsCore Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in technical project management, product delivery, or similar roles delivering web-based platforms or complex software systemsStrong understanding of software development workflows, including Git-based version control, branching, environments, and release processesHands-on experience using Jira (or similar) to manage backlogs, sprints, and delivery trackingWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies with the ability to apply them pragmaticallyStrong project management for the entire project life cycle and self-motivated to follow through completionExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersDesired: Experience in clinical systems, medical imaging, highly regulated environments, photography, imaging domain knowledge, or experience working with image-based systemsFamiliarity with validation processes or FDA-related workflowsProject management certifications (PMP, CSPO, or similar)Canfield Scientific, Inc. is a core imaging lab providing custom photographic systems, image monitoring, and centralized analysis services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics industries supporting global clinical trials providing primary endpoint data and supporting documentation. The anticipated salary range for the position is $110,000 - $120,000 annually. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
