The right individual has great communication skills, is passionate about their work, and possesses an eagerness to be part of a dynamic group of focused and creative individuals.Job Description: Project management from conception through completion, including gathering requirements, design and functionality development, and delivering a finished productUnderstand computer science fundamentals, object-oriented coding principles and practices, and possess the ability to deliver a finished project without relying on frameworksDemonstrate mastery of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSDesign and implement secure, scalable cloud APIs for Canfield’s patient portal ecosystemDevelop dynamically rendered pages using JS and AJAX dataOptimization of application performance and implementation of backend security controlsSQL database experience including schema design, table normalization, and the writing of efficient queriesCore Requirements: Bachelor's degree, computer science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience7 years’ experience with PHP (object-oriented PHP 8+ required), JavaScript (with closures), and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)Solid understanding and effective use of sessionsDemonstrated experience in technical project managementProficiency for writing cross-browser codeExperience in troubleshooting legacy systems and moving them forward including contributing to the quality assurance process by working to resolve bugsDesired: Familiarity with configuration of PHP and Apache (including virtual hosts)Canfield Imaging Systems is the world-leading developer of specialized photographic systems for medical practices, institutions, research organizations, and pharmaceutical suppliers. The anticipated salary range for the position is $110,000.00-$145,000.00 annually. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
