Headquartered in New York City since 1990, Free Country designs and produces high-quality outwear, activewear and swimwear for men, women and pets.Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to support inventory control and optimization across our apparel product lines. This role will work closely with Production, Logistics, Sales, and third-party partners to maintain inventory accuracy, analyze variances, and resolve discrepancies, while developing reporting and insights that help improve inventory processes, support business decisions, and ensure inventory remains aligned with demand.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate system inventory levels across distribution networkLead inventory reconciliation with 3PLs, cycle counts, and physical inventoriesIdentify and resolve discrepancies, shrinkage, and system inaccuraciesAnalyze variances to identify root causes and recommend corrective actionDevelop and manage corporate inventory reporting; present ATS insights and recommendations to leadershipContinuously improve inventory policy, processes, systems, and controlsPrepare ad-hoc analyses to support leadership and cross-functional teamsPerform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by managementQualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations3+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in apparel or consumer goodsProficiency in inventory management systems (A2000, WMS)Advanced Excel skills; extensive data analysis (pivot tables/xlookkups)Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detailStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience using AI (Claude and ChatGPT) to efficiently perform responsibilities. xhyhwjd Must be onsite daily at our New York office.
