Job Summary The Human Resources Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining the HRIS – UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready system and providing administrative support to HR Manager, Recruiting, Accounting and Payroll departments. The role supports hiring, I-9, E-Verify processing, employee leave of absence, benefits enrollment, Time & Attendance and general HR administration. Responsibilities Maintain UKG modules and implement use of new modules. Maintain and implement workflow for manual processes and notifications related to payroll and benefits. Manage open enrollment and update all benefits & TPAs. Maintain 90‑day performance evaluations and annual reviews. Maintain onboarding streamlined processes for newly hired candidates. Provide UKG/Kronos training via PowerPoint and live sessions. Update employee changes in Kronos and Adaxes (the IT platform). Manage time off and timesheets in Kronos. Process I‑9s and E‑Verify for new hires. Provide Kronos help desk support and generate reports for managerial staff. Assist employees with UKG/Kronos changes, issues, time‑off overrides and benefits questions. Assist the HR Manager with new hire orientation. Vouchering vendor billing. Case management/troubleshooting in UKG/Kronos and related data feeds. Cross‑check 401K deductions, distribute quarterly eligible paperwork via Kronos and ensure all forms are complete. Collect EEO information from new hire packets for federal reporting and run EEO reports. Assist with maintaining accurate employee HR and benefit files. Qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Administration preferred. Minimum 1–3 years of HR experience with UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready HRIS system. Experience with benefits coordination strongly preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal and attention‑to‑detail skills; ability to multi‑task. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and strong understanding of confidentiality.
