Assistant Property Manager - Residential - Affordable Housing

Location & Classification San Antonio, TX 78221 – Full‑time/Part‑time. Classification: Non‑exempt (overtime eligible). Primary Responsibilities Conduct daily arrears collections, including resident visit follow‑ups as needed. Oversee the resident move‑in and move‑out process. Inspect all units prior to move‑ins and after all move‑outs. Work in conjunction with maintenance staff on the administration of work order requests. Assist the PM with conducting annual unit inspections to ensure compliance with Tax Credit Regulatory standards. Ensure on‑time collection and completion of all annual resident certifications. Process new move‑in packages and prepare Section 8 packages for review by the supervisor. Qualifications High School diploma OR GED; some college preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Property Management, including experience with Section 8. Previous supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with affordable housing. Experience managing maintenance staff is a plus. Understanding of annual certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Yardi software experience is a plus.
