About This Role
We're seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team at Active Minds Daycare and Learning Center, located in eastern Henrico at 2713 Byron Street, catering to children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
As a Christian learning center, we uphold biblical values and principles in our teachings, and we're committed to providing a nurturing environment that fosters spiritual growth in our young students.
An exceptional work ethic is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
What You'll Do- Implementing various subjects such as reading, writing, math, time-telling, and shoelace-tying skills.
- Designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and enthusiasm in our students.
- Adhering to our established learning curriculum to ensure a structured and effective education.
- Providing weekly progress reports to parents, highlighting areas of strength and challenge for each child.
- This role demands continuous interaction with students, often requiring you to be on your feet.
- Contributing to cleaning duties in collaboration with other teachers.
- 1 year or more experience in childcare
- Hight School Diploma or GED
- Possession of a Certificate or Degree in Early Childhood Education would be a valuable asset.
