Job Summary: The Associate Manager, Digital Content Quality and Localization drives the quality and effectiveness of localized web content and product content, ensuring every regional customer touchpoint is accurate, culturally relevant, and frictionless.Working closely with other departments in the company such as Regional teams, Marketing, Product, CX, the Associate Manager, Digital Content Quality and Localization supports the end-to-end localization workflows, oversees translation quality, and leads regional projects that improve the customer journey from search and discovery to checkout across iHerb international markets.Job Expectations:Localization & Translation QualityLead and manage localization of web content, product pages, promotional campaign support (emails, banners, social, etc) and digital assets across all supported regions and languagesOwn translation quality assurance processes, ensuring all localized content meets iHerb’s accuracy, tone, and brand standardsDevelop and maintain localization style guides, glossaries, and quality benchmarks by region and languageReview and audit translated content for linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and alignment with regional market expectationsPartner with LSPs, and internal stakeholders to manage localization pipelines and deliverablesRegional Partnerships & Market SupportCollaborate with regional teams to identify and resolve end-to-end friction points in local market experiencesServe as the project management point of contact for assigned regions, supporting localized regional initiatives from scoping through deliveryMonitor regional experiences and proactively flag content, UX, or functionality gaps that impact local customersSupport regionalization efforts including currency, date formats, local compliance requirements, and market-specific content adaptationsCoordinate with other teams on internal and external search functionalities such as metadescription, keywords, etc Product Content QualityOversee the quality and consistency of product content across localized markets, including product titles, descriptions, attributes, and imageryIdentify and drive resolution of product content issues that affect discoverability or conversion in regional marketsCoordinate with content, catalog, and merchandising teams to ensure product content meets regional standardsStakeholder Communication & ReportingProvide regular status updates to internal stakeholders, regional teams, and leadership on localization and regional project progressMonitor and report on KPIs related to localization quality, regional content performance, and localization related metricsImplement quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet iHerb standards and maintain project integrityKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRequiredStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across cultures and with international stakeholdersDeep understanding of localization and translation workflows, quality assurance processes, and industry best practicesAdaptability – must be flexible to project shifts and able to pivot strategies to keep plans moving forward across multiple regions simultaneouslyProblem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of regional experience friction and drive resolutionTeam leadership – ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a collaborative environmentExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple regional workstreams concurrentlyCultural awareness and sensitivity to regional market differences in customer behavior, expectations, and communication normsEquipment Knowledge:Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferredExperience Requirements:Generally requires a minimum of two (2) to five (5 ) years of relevant professional experience in localization project management, digital content management, or a related field. Proven experience managing multilingual content programs and working with international markets or regional stakeholders is required.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, International Business, Project Management, or a related field.#LI-ME1Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 USD.
