Work Environment

This on-site role is situated within an outpatient facility, where you will have access to modern equipment and resources to provide engaged and effective patient care. Our work environment is designed to support teamwork, open communication, and ongoing professional development. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for work-life balance while being part of a cohesive, innovative team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough evaluations to determine patients' functional limitations and disabilities, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that align with the latest industry standards and adapting these as necessary to best serve each patient's unique presentation.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and timely interventions, documenting changes in patients' conditions that necessitate adjustments in therapeutic strategies.
• Providing evaluation services, including an in-depth review of medical histories, specific assessments, and crafting detailed documentation that outlines treatment outcomes and recommendations.
• Maintaining accuracy in patient care documentation, including daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, to facilitate continuity of care.
• Engaging with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring each session leads to incremental improvements in mobility, strength, and quality of life.
• Participating in team meetings and educational sessions to enhance service delivery and stay abreast of developments in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic encompasses a wide range of individuals, including athletes recovering from injuries, elderly patients seeking mobility support, and individuals rehabilitating from surgeries. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program, ensuring a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in patient management.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida, demonstrating compliance with local healthcare regulations.
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous professional growth and education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with patients quickly and effectively.
• Current CPR certification, reflecting a dedication to patient safety and emergency readiness.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy within an outpatient setting, particularly in a role involving direct patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
