Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with various functional limitations and disabilities to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Adhere to state practice acts and legislations governing physical therapy, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
• Utilize clinical expertise to implement evidence-based treatment protocols, modifying interventions as necessary based on real-time evaluations and patient progress.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, making recommendations and adjustments to the plan of care as patient conditions evolve.
• Document all aspects of patient care, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, maintaining clear and accurate medical records.
• Engage in complete discharge planning and provide follow-up care to ensure continuity of services and rehabilitation success for our patients.
• Participate in all relevant training and meetings geared toward maintaining compliance with corporate and clinical service standards.
• Support departmental productivity by effectively managing treatment schedules and ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Actively engage in enhancing access to services and participate in initiatives aimed at improving patient engagement and care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Retain Wellness & Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. Your role will be vital in assessing their unique needs and designing rehabilitation programs that promote strength, mobility, and independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, demonstrating a solid foundation in best practices and treatment methodologies.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility setting, particularly related to post-surgical recovery and chronic pain management.
• Exposure to digital tools or health solutions that enhance patient engagement and recovery tracking.
• Previous experience collaborating in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
