Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As you work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families, your expertise will empower students to communicate confidently and achieve their fullest potential in the classroom. Previous experience in schools is essential to excel in this position. Supervision for Clinical Fellows is available, making this an excellent opportunity to help shape the profession’s future—however, this assignment does not accommodate teletherapy at this time.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience delivering SLP services in a school setting
• Comfortable with an itinerant schedule and serving more than one campus as needed
• Commitment to collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and ethical service delivery
• Willingness to provide support and pitch in for Clinical Fellows (CFs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students
• Partner with teachers and school teams to enhance student communication and participation
• Complete thorough documentation, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Travel between designated school sites as needed
• Educate and communicate effectively with families, students, and staff
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in school speech-language pathology
