Senior C# Developer (MSSQL - Data Conversions & Onboarding Automation)

As we scale globally, we're expanding our development team in Chennai to drive forward key automation and data integration initiatives. Role Summary We are seeking a Senior C# Developer with strong Microsoft SQL Server skills to take ownership of data-driven processes that are critical to client onboarding. Your primary responsibilities will include data conversions, bulk imports , and developing automation features that streamline client onboarding and payroll system setup. Experience or familiarity with U.S. payroll concepts is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain backend tools in C# (.NET 6/7/8) for automated client onboarding , including data mapping and validation Design and implement processes for converting and importing payroll, HR, and employee data from third-party systems into Worklio’s platform Collaborate with implementation and support teams to understand client data structures and design flexible import workflows Develop and optimize SQL Server scripts, stored procedures, and integration jobs for handling large data sets Ensure the accuracy and integrity of imported data through validation logic and automated exception handling Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our onboarding pipeline and internal tooling Document processes and provide input to improve efficiency and standardization of onboarding projects Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with C#/.NET backend development Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (complex queries, stored procedures, data normalization) Experience with ETL , data transformations, or data migration projects Solid understanding of data modeling and systems integration Familiarity with JSON, CSV, Excel imports and related parsing techniques Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Ability to work with remote teams and communicate effectively in English Preferred Qualifications Experience with U.S. payroll systems , HRIS, or benefits platforms Exposure to Azure , Entity Framework , or data APIs Experience automating onboarding or customer provisioning in a SaaS product Knowledge of data validation frameworks or tooling #J-18808-Ljbffr Worklio
