Our client is a well-established custom machinery manufacturer looking to add a Controls Engineer to their engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on custom automation projects from start to finish while collaborating with mechanical engineers, electricians, and production.

You'll be involved in PLC programming, HMI development, electrical design, machine startup, and troubleshooting while helping deliver custom equipment to customers across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
Design electrical schematics and control panels.
Support machine startups and system testing.
Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues during build and startup.
Work with mechanical engineers and production throughout each project.
Assist with customer support when needed.
Help improve existing control systems and documentation.

Qualifications

Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
Experience with industrial automation or custom machinery.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable working with cross-functional engineering teams.

You should be proficient in:

PLC Wiring Experience
