Director, Clinical Pharmacology (Oncology)

The Director of Clinical Pharmacology will lead oncology drug development activities, oversee clinical pharmacology teams, and provide strategic scientific guidance on complex projects. This role requires extensive expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug development processes, with responsibility for team management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics activities across multiple complex oncology projects
• Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and resolve cross-project issues
• Review clinical protocols and regulatory documents; lead submissions and responses to agencies
• Manage and mentor Clinical Pharmacology team members with coaching and performance feedback
• Conduct due diligence assessments and represent the function on business development initiatives

Requirements

• PhD with 9+ years or PharmD with 11+ years in PK, PBPK, pharmacometrics, or drug metabolism
• Master's in Science with 17+ years or Bachelor's in Science with 19+ years related experience
• Demonstrated leadership in pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacometric activities
• Advanced knowledge across multiple therapeutic areas and development phases
• Strong project management skills including scope, progress tracking, and team management
• Recognized expertise in drug development processes and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
