Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including structured MBSR programs, to clients seeking anxiety reduction and emotional stability.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, designing individualized mindfulness practices that cater to their needs.

• Guide clients through a variety of mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at enhancing self-awareness and fostering emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies to promote community wellness.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions while addressing specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Previous training or coursework in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.
