- Manage and maintain electronic and paper medical records in accordance with HIM policies. \n
- Process requests for medical records, including release of information (ROI) requests. \n
- Review records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation. \n
- Scan, index, organize, and file medical records into the EMR/EHR system. \n
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate record matching and identification. \n
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy regulations. \n
- Track and document ROI requests and maintain accurate record logs. \n
