Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical mobility, strength, and flexibility, and establish individualized treatment plans that address identified impairments.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy techniques, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, as needed for patient rehabilitation.
• Track and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about exercises, recovery strategies, and overall health practices that facilitate continued improvement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards for documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to optimize care strategies for each patient.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, ensuring adherence to relevant federal and state regulations.
• Encourage patient adherence to treatment by fostering a positive therapeutic environment, providing motivation, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Participate in departmental meetings and performance improvement initiatives to contribute to the quality of care and clinic efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to work with various age groups, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: A current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Certification: Current hands-on CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state guidelines in physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, although new graduates with relevant educational training and enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.
• Previous hands-on experience with therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
