Payroll/Accounting Assistant working in Glendale Heights, IL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support our business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, expenses as well as updating our accounting database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience. Candidate must have prior credible experience in the transportation/logistics industry preferably in the intermodal sector of the business. Responsibilities Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll and Related Duties Customer Invoicing Coding all credit cards and approving vendor payments Oversee/Manage HR functions and employee benefits management Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study encouraged but not required 3 to 5 years' of experience working in Accounting at a transportation Company Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly detail-oriented Must be proficient in Quick Books, Excel, Word and any prior experience working on a TMS System such as Port PRO Starting Pay and Benefits Full Insurance benefits including Major Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, Short Term Disability, 401K PTO, Vacation and Holiday pay Full Time Position and you will be required to work onsite Monday Thru Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr
