Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and properly prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Maintain a neat, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of your certification throughout your tenure.
