Billing Coordinator

We are looking for driven and organized individuals who share the same pride and enthusiasm for the industry as we do.Purpose: The Billing Coordinator is responsible for preparing all job billings; assists the VP of Operations by providing administrative support and coordinating procedures.Essential Duties include the following:Prepares all job billings and supporting documents including: pay applications, lien releases and Sub/Supplier documents.Assists Project Managers with tracking job progress and ensure timely billingsPrepares all jobs for closeoutAssist Accounts Payable with any vendor invoicing questionsManages any billing problems and completes any collection follow up calls as necessaryGenerates new customer and new vendor setup forms and request W-9’s and tax exempt or insurance certificates as necessaryGenerates job numbers and work orders for new jobs; enters jobs into applicable systemsEnters budgets and SOV into applicable system as necessaryEnters any change orders into systemCreates and maintains job filesTracks any open POs issued by customers; closes any unused POsRuns reports for Project Managers and leadership as requestedCompletes various filing and other administrative duties as necessaryConducts scheduling, dispatching and field coordination as requiredAdministers other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of previous experience performing similar accounting related functions and previous Construction experience highly preferredMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsMust possess good computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with accounting system softwarePhysical Requirements:Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Performance of the job may require sitting, handling items and working with fingers to type, complete paperwork, and handle other administrative functions.
