Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services at an elementary school resource level near Kansas City, MO. This full-time, onsite contract position spans from mid-August to early November as maternity leave coverage. You’ll play a key role in supporting young learners, collaborating with educators, and helping students maximize their communication abilities in a welcoming educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work full-time, onsite from 9am – 4:40pm, Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans for students at the resource level
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to elementary students addressing speech and language needs
• Document sessions and progress according to school guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Provide support and resources for students’ communication and language development in an inclusive school setting
