We are seeking a safety-focused Materials Coordinator to support warehouse and investment recovery operations at our Hahnville, Louisiana site. This role is responsible for material handling, warehouse transactions, inventory support, equipment operation, and investment recovery activities while maintaining strict compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Pull, stage, receive, store, and deliver materials throughout the site.

  • Load and unload trucks, including motor freight, FedEx/UPS, and hot shots, using forklifts and other material handling equipment.

  • Open, verify, and count incoming packages and materials.

  • Perform warehouse transactions, inventory activities, and goods receipts using SAP/Mobility systems.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and follow established warehouse processes and procedures.

  • Manage scrap metal containers and materials within the Investment Recovery Facility.

  • Operate a backhoe for scrap metal container management after completing required training and qualification.

  • Support Investment Recovery meetings, initiatives, and related activities.

  • Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel, site operations, and other site organizations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Perform additional warehouse and investment recovery duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, material handling, or industrial operations experience.

  • Forklift operation experience; site certification will be provided.

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate standard operating systems.

  • Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to learn and effectively use SAP, Mobility applications, and related business processes.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and cross-functional site teams.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, adaptability, and willingness to continuously learn.

  • Ability to safely and repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing approximately 25-50 lbs.

  • Active driver's license required.

  • TWIC card required.
Safety & Work Environment
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and requirements.

  • Wear required PPE and identify/report hazards and unsafe conditions.

  • Work in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments, including areas with varying temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, fumes, and odors.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and handle materials.

  • Safely operate forklifts, material handling equipment, and other assigned equipment.
