In this role, you will provide essential mental health support to adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues from the comfort of your own home. This full-time position offers competitive compensation in the range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and hours worked. Key Responsibilities Conduct individualized therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client. Facilitate open discussions during sessions that encourage clients to articulate their thoughts and feelings, fostering self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Act as a client advocate, working collaboratively to define their therapy goals and discuss progress, setbacks, and strategies for ongoing improvement. Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' conditions, developing well-rounded treatment plans that employ solution-focused methodologies. Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies, ensuring that client records are up-to-date and properly managed. Stay informed about best practices in mental health counseling and engage in regular peer consultations and supervision to refine your skills. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary clientele you will serve consists of adults experiencing manageable mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Our approach prioritizes stability and low-acuity cases to promote effective management of conditions, enabling clients to develop necessary coping strategies and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution is required. Possession of one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Demonstrated proficiency with technology and telehealth platforms for therapy delivery, including strong computer literacy skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients to facilitate productive therapeutic relationships. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a community health setting or telehealth-related counseling is highly desirable. Familiarity with solution-focused and strengths-based therapeutic approaches preferred. A proven track record of positive client outcomes, reflecting the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
