Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify and evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring each diagnosis leads to tailored treatment strategies. Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are customized to meet the specific goals and challenges of individual clients. Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic approaches to facilitate client engagement and progress. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to offer comprehensive care that addresses holistic client needs. Maintain meticulous confidentiality of client records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines to protect client privacy. Participate in ongoing professional development through clinical supervision and case conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients range from children and adolescents facing behavioral issues to adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and addiction challenges. Qualifications A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. A minimum of a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated experience in conducting both individual and group therapy within a mental health context. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are effective in mental health treatment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, vital for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality at all times. Preferred Experience Prior experience working within a community health clinic setting is highly valued. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and integrated treatment approaches. Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals battling substance use disorders, is a plus. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, complemented by potential bonuses.
