Quality Manager/ Director Why This Role MattersA growing structural steel fabrication business is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its quality strategy and support the continued development of its operations.As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will have the authority to strengthen quality systems, maintain critical certifications and establish consistent standards throughout the facility.This is an opportunity to make a visible impact within an ambitious company investing in its people, processes and long-term growth.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain the company's Quality Management SystemEnsure continued compliance with AISC certification requirementsAlign quality procedures with applicable ISO 9001 standardsLead internal and external quality auditsMaintain quality documentation, procedures and inspection recordsIdentify quality risks and implement effective corrective actionsInvestigate nonconformances and reduce recurring quality issuesPromote continuous improvement across fabrication operationsCollaborate with production, engineering and project management teamsDevelop, support and hold quality personnel accountableProvide senior leadership with clear quality reporting and recommendationsMaintain consistent standards across all stages of fabricationRequirementsProven quality management experience within structural steel fabricationStrong working knowledge of AISC certification requirementsKnowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management SystemsExperience preparing for and managing certification auditsDemonstrated success implementing or improving quality processesStrong understanding of fabrication drawings, specifications and inspection requirementsConfident leadership and team-development abilitiesExcellent communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to influence quality culture throughout an organization Novax Recruitment
