Associate Professor

Job Description Performs investigative research in the particular area(s) of study and publishes and presents data in a timely manner. Works collaboratively with other investigators and scientists in facilitating scientific research. Participates in various types of institute and community activities. Job Responsibility Conducts independent research and/or development work. Applies for grant funding and/or patents as appropriate. Supervises research staff and provides technical direction to research staff. Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, correspondence, attending meetings, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc. Responsible for the collection and analysis of research data. Submits manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation. Responsible for all other activities, clinical and administrative, as appropriate. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science required. Faculty appointment by the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Appointments and Promotions Committee, required. 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
