Position Overview
The school district is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Services Coordinator to lead its Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education services.
This position combines school-based physical therapy with department leadership, mentoring, and program development for students with autism and other specialized needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education services
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to department staff
• Mentor and support fellow clinicians
• Help develop and improve student therapy programming
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support evaluations, treatment planning, and student goals as needed
Qualifications
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience
• Leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with autism or complex learning needs is a plus
