Logistics Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Systems Coordinator to serve as the key bridge between our operations team and our transportation technologies in Farmingdale, NY! In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and daily optimization of our Transportation Management System (TMS) and routing software. You will troubleshoot technical issues, plan and track daily routes, assist with delivery exceptions, and ensure our systems keep operations running smoothly.  

salary: $22 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Support TMS implementation, software updates, and ongoing platform enhancements.

• Monitor and troubleshoot logistics software issues, coordinate root-cause resolutions with IT and vendor support, and test new features prior to deployment.

• Assemble and prepare daily delivery routes using routing software; monitor route execution and track driver progress to ensure timely deliveries.

• Collaborate with Customer Service, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Operations to locate freight, resolve delivery exceptions, and address customer inquiries.

• Research and resolve Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) claims using system data and cross-departmental coordination.

• Serve as the main point of contact for software vendors regarding bugs, feature requests, and system improvements.

• Train and onboard staff on system usage while providing ongoing technical support across operations.

• Monitor data accuracy, assist with transportation reporting, document recurring issues, and recommend workflow improvements.

• Maintain clear interdepartmental communication and perform other logistics support duties as assigned.
