ENTRY-LEVEL STEEL PROJECT COORDINATOR – NORTH NJ
Growing steel subcontractor in North Jersey is looking for an entry-level Project Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction, engineering, architectural, or related degree who wants to build a career in structural steel project management.
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with structural steel projects from award through completion
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, fabricators, and field personnel
Track project schedules, materials, and deliveries
Help manage change orders and project correspondence
Learn the full project lifecycle from estimating through installation
Requirements:
0–3 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to read construction drawings
Motivated to learn the structural steel industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
