ENTRY-LEVEL STEEL PROJECT COORDINATOR – NORTH NJ
Growing steel subcontractor in North Jersey is looking for an entry-level Project Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction, engineering, architectural, or related degree who wants to build a career in structural steel project management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with structural steel projects from award through completion
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, fabricators, and field personnel
- Track project schedules, materials, and deliveries
- Help manage change orders and project correspondence
- Learn the full project lifecycle from estimating through installation
Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Motivated to learn the structural steel industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
