About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support across a high-volume orthopedic service line, including total joint arthroplasties (hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle), fracture repair, arthroscopic procedures, and sports medicine cases
• Function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment with the ability to perform effectively from day one of assignment
• Participate in call coverage for the department outside of normal business hours, including weekends
• Float to other surgical services as needed based on department requirements
• Ensure timely on-time case starts, including early arrival when cases are scheduled to begin at 6:30 AM

• Minimum of 3 years of recent, full-time experience as a Surgical Technologist in a high-volume hospital setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of orthopedic surgery procedures
• Must be able to function independently without extensive onboarding or training
• Must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was required

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical technologist role
• Experience floating across multiple surgical service lines
• Familiarity with call coverage responsibilities in a hospital surgical department
