Travel RN - Med/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion position at a cancer center, requiring an ONS Chemo/Bio certification and recent trauma experience.

Job Details

• Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite within a cancer center,
• 30-bed/chair infusion unit serving approximately 70 patients per day,
• Patient population includes hematology and oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications,
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week,

Job Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ONS Chemo/Bio Card certifications required,
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required,
• 2 managerial references required for consideration,
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, patient assessment and education, side effect management, monitoring, and emotional support,
• IV skills and mediport access experience are preferred but not required,
• Pediatric hematology/oncology experience is preferred but not required
