Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric/Psychiatric inpatient unit specializing in adolescent patients, with required AVADE/MOAB/CPI certification and experience in adolescent or pediatric psychiatric nursing.

Job Details

• Inpatient pediatric/psychiatric unit serving adolescents ages 12-17,
• 6-bed short-stay unit focused on patients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis, some with moderate medical complexity,
• 36-hour weekly schedule on day shift,
• 10-week contract,
• Every other weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• AVADE, MOAB, or CPI certification required,
• Experience with adolescent or pediatric psychiatric nursing required,
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• 2 manager references required for consideration,

• Unit is newly opened, designed specifically for short-stay adolescent psychiatric care,
• Patients are admitted with a primary psychiatric diagnosis and may present with moderate medical complexity
