The Department of Psychiatry at UMass Memorial Health is seeking a psychiatrist with demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership experience or potential in women’s mental health and integrated care. This position will provide the opportunity to be the Medical Director of a statewide program, MCPAP for Moms, which aims to build the capacity of the perinatal care community to address perinatal mental health and substance use disorders in Massachusetts. MCPAP for Moms provides training, consultation, and resources and referrals for perinatal care professionals across Massachusetts. Responsibilities This will be a virtual or in‑person half‑time position dedicated to being the Medical Director of MCPAP for Moms, providing clinical consultation at least one day a week and collaborating with other Perinatal Psychiatry Access Programs. Additional clinical activities beyond the half‑time role may include provision of pharmacotherapy and administration or recommendation of other treatments such as neuromodulation and psychotherapeutic treatments in collaboration with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, and other professionals. Qualifications Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership experience or potential in women’s mental health and integrated care.
