We are hiring for Phlebotomist positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Evening shifts, 40 hours per week.

Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of Nursing Home Clients. Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization or,
• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification or,
• Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government or,
• Upon hire: National Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or,
• Upon hire: Alaska Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License - State of Alaska Department of Health

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
