Registered Nurse – Surgical Pre-Op (OR) opportunity in Saint Helena, California. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting July 6, 2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative nursing care, assessment, and preparation for surgical patients
- Verify patient identity, consent, allergies, and surgical site; ensure correct patient workflow
- Prepare patients for the OR, including positioning, monitoring devices, and safety checks
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with perioperative procedures as assigned
- Monitor patient status preoperatively, document vitals and interventions, and communicate changes to the team
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure smooth patient flow and safety

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- OPS (operating room/pre-op) experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a surgical pre-op setting and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Education: Registered Nurse, with current licensure and credentials
