Toolmaker/ Mold Maker Full Time Grayslake, IL, US Salary Range: $27.38 To $37.21 Hourly Toolmaker / Mold Maker CompX Grayslake is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical locking devices, systems for world class original equipment manufacturers and manufacture of precision instruments, throttles, marine products, and accessories. Position Responsibilities: Experience in running / working knowledge of Tool Room Equipment such as: CNC Vertical Milling machine (i.e. Hurco, Mori Seiki, Haas), or a manual Bridegeport CNC sinker EDM Machine CNC Lathe CNC Programming knowledge a plus CNC Setup/Operator of Vertical Mills / Latch… a plus Ability to read engineering piece part prints, have mathematical skills and measuring skills Experience in building small to medium size precision Diecast Dies and Plastic Injection Molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints is a plus Ability to troubleshoot mold problems and make corrections is a plus Ability to make replacement inserts for molds is a plus Ability to build fixtures for manufacturing assembly machines is a plus Knowledge of trim dies is a plus A minimum of 3 years’ experience Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements: Ability to move around equipment.
