Companion Caregiver

Responsive RecruiterHomeWell Care Services is hiring non-medical caregivers for the Vista, Oceanside, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Poway, RB and surrounding areas. Our Care Managers know you by name and are always available to assist the caregivers, provide additional training, take your immediate calls, etc. We have the following work shifts available:Day shiftsEvening shiftsOvernight shiftsWe are looking for reliable & compassionate people who want to grow their career in the home health care field, by providing non-medical care in the client's home. Our caregivers make a positive impact in the lives of seniors by ensuring their safety and promoting their independence. We offer bonus opportunities and health insurance, so ask us for detailResponsibilities include:Providing companionship to seniorsAssisting with activities of daily living, including bathing and bathroom assistancePerforming light housekeeping tasksPlanning and preparing mealsProviding medication remindersProviding transportation to and from appointmentsQualifications include:Experience is a plus but not required. If you have cared for a family member or enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you.Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect & have a strong work ethicMust have negative TB test results within 90 days of hire (sometimes we can assist with the cost after placement)Strict adherence to all state regulations and standards as a home care aidValid driver's license & reliable transportationMust pass a criminal background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedulesAble to lift a minimum of 25 lbsYour second language skills are a plus- helps you earn a higher rate/offers more job opportunities.
