Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Room (ER) is available at a facility located in Lewiston, Maine. The position involves working in a Level 2 trauma center that provides comprehensive emergency services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Shift: Nights, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BCLS/BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience, ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, experience with ventilated patients, pediatric patients (approx. 5%), work in a non-trauma emergency department setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: The ER is a Level 2 trauma center with four critical care bays, equipped with ultrasound, bladder scanner, neuro telecommunication system, and Care Aware handheld devices. The electronic health records (EHR) system includes Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR. This role involves float requirements, with travelers required to float to emergency department holding areas.
