About the Position

Job Title: IMCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 48 hours contract Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with heparin drips Description: Provide care for patients with a range of conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and respiratory failure. Manage patients with chronic conditions such as COPD, chronic kidney disease, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Assist individuals dealing with substance abuse and encephalopathy. Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 4. Ensure effective monitoring and administration of heparin drips as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols in patient care settings. Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance nursing competencies.
