Senior Product Owner
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and government systems sector, is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join their team. As a Senior Product Owner, you will be part of the Agile Release Train (ART) supporting innovative solutions within a SAFe environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite preferred), Denver, CO, Berkley Heights, NJ, or Marietta, GA
Pay Range: $62/hr
What's the Job?
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and execute the product vision, roadmap, and features.
- Manage and prioritize the team backlog to maximize value delivery.
- Define clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning, system demos, and inspect & adapt workshops.
- Work closely with architects, BAs, and development teams to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
What's Needed?
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
