Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst to support enterprise‐wide reporting modernization initiatives across HR and Financial systems. This role plays a key part in transitioning legacy reporting platforms to modern BI solutions while improving data accessibility, reporting efficiency, and user experience. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Power BI, SQL, Databricks, and enterprise data environments, along with strong analytical and stakeholder‐facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise reporting modernization by converting legacy reports to modern BI solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for executive, operational, and analytical reporting
• Build paginated and operational reports using Power BI Report Builder and similar tools
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries (joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations) across large enterprise datasets
• Query and analyze data in Databricks and cloud analytics platforms using SQL and PySpark
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation across multiple source systems and reporting platforms
• Design semantic models and reporting datasets, including relationships, hierarchies, measures, and performance optimization
• Implement advanced dashboard functionality (drill‐through, slicers, KPIs, bookmarks, dynamic filters)
• Support report validation, troubleshooting, UAT, and integration testing activities
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for reporting logic, data models, and workflows
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions
• Ensure adherence to data governance, role‐based security, and access control standards
• Collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands‐on experience developing BI dashboards and enterprise reports using Power BI
• 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL for reporting, analytics, and troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience working with Databricks, cloud analytics platforms, or enterprise data warehouses
• 5+ years of experience building paginated/operational reports using Power BI Report Builder
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Proven ability to validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot reporting data across legacy and modern platforms
• Experience supporting UAT, report testing, and stakeholder reviews
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HR, Payroll, Financial, or operational reporting environments
• Experience with Tableau (user level or higher)
• Background supporting reporting modernization or enterprise BI transformation initiatives
• Experience working in Agile or project‐based development environments
• Industry‐recognized certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
