Production Lead / Machine Operator Allegiance Staffing is hiring a Production Lead / Machine Operator for a growing company in the Louisville area. This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a production process. Location: Louisville, KY / Middletown Area Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay: $20/hr Based on Experience Embroidery experience is NOT required. We are looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn equipment and processes quickly. This position will initially operate as a small, hands-on production department, giving the right person the opportunity to take ownership of the operation and grow into a larger leadership role as production expands.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment
• Manage daily production workflow and priorities
• Review work orders and specifications for accuracy
• Monitor finished products and maintain quality standards
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
• Make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency
• Track materials and production supplies
• Maintain an organized production area
• Help establish efficient and repeatable production processes
• Coordinate outsourced and in-house production needs
• Take ownership of production deadlines and results
• Train and lead additional employees as the department grows

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, machine operation, printing, embroidery, graphics, maintenance, or another technical environment preferred
• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable learning new equipment, technology, and software
• Able to work independently and make decisions
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Dependable with a strong sense of ownership
• Leadership or lead experience is a plus

Direct embroidery experience is a plus but not required. Who Will Do Well in This Role?
