Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Leesburg, Virginia. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a stable schedule that allows you to focus on delivering exceptional therapy services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify their unique needs and challenges, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that focus on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing strength based on identified goals.
• Administer targeted physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time outcomes and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitative exercises and long-term wellness strategies to promote self-management and ongoing health progression.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating effective care transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with seniors and individuals recovering from acute conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke recovery, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient population may also include those with neurological disorders or orthopedic injuries. Your expertise in addressing their specific needs will be key to facilitating positive outcomes and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Candidates with a Doctorate or Master's degree are preferred.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapy License in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills and effective communication abilities, essential for collaborating with patients and team members.
• A deep sense of empathy and compassion, coupled with a strong commitment to helping others through their recovery journeys.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Your expertise and dedication will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
