Work Environment

This position is based at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg, Virginia, where you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals. Our onsite setting allows for immediate collaboration with other therapists, nurses, and staff, ensuring holistic patient care. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, either from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological impairments.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy processes, emphasizing the importance of their active participation in the rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct educational sessions and in-service training for staff to enhance understanding and utilization of therapy services available at the facility.
• Actively participate in Care Plan Meetings, offering insights on patient progress and contributing to interdisciplinary discussions involving other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring continuity of care.
• Work closely with supervising Physical Therapists to maintain high standards of service and maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including post-operative individuals, elderly patients recovering from injuries, and individuals with chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Each day will present a new challenge, requiring adaptability and the ability to develop therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. By working within an interdisciplinary team, you will directly contribute to enhancing the recovery process and quality of life for those you serve.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
