Work Environment

As part of a team of skilled professionals, your work will primarily involve providing physical therapy treatments in patients' homes. This onsite work setting allows for a personal touch in the therapeutic process, ensuring comfortable and familiar surroundings for our patients. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life environment while maintaining high-quality care delivery. You will have access to state-of-the-art tools and equipment, ensuring effective treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to develop individual treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Design and implement therapeutic interventions using best practices and the latest evidence-based techniques.
• Provide hands-on care utilizing various manual therapy modalities to maximize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, exercises, and prevention strategies to promote long-term health.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to provide focused and effective treatment to each individual.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and communication about patient status.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of adherence to therapy.
• Promote community wellness and healthy lifestyle choices through fitness programs tailored to patient capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring outpatient care, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse client population, including athletes seeking recovery from sports injuries and seniors aiming to improve functional mobility and enhance daily living activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Possession of an active physical therapist license with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and exercise programs, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical rehabilitation.
• Ability to effectively use EMR systems, ensuring clear and concise patient documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development, staying abreast of current physical therapy methodologies and innovations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred, with a solid background in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices and a strong desire to engage in preventative measures for athletes.
• A demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized exercise programs that cater to a range of physical abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this Full-time Physical Therapist position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
